FEEDING MANAGEMENT OF THE HERD

The team’s  contribution includes:

  • Formulating animal diets for all the animal categories on the farm and optimizing the farm feeding plans
  • Evaluating the nutritional and microbial quality of forages and concentrates, and the fermentative profile of silages
  • Monitoring the chemical and physical quality of the rations fed to the farm animals and their digestibility
  • Analyzing the commodity market to help the farmers choose the best cost-effective feeds for their animals
  • Supporting the farmers in organizing and simplifying the daily operativity of the farm works
